It's a beautiful day in the Neighborhood...

I caught Callie playing with her feet and got some pictures before she stopped. It is really funny to watch:) She has even figured out how to undo the velcro on her little sandals, so I have to constantly watch to make sure they are still on her feet.

YEA! We have a sign in our yard! We got kicked out last night for a showing, and there are two more scheduled for today already. Callie and I are trying to figure out what we are going to do when we have to leave, and we have decided that we will probably do some shopping.

When we got home last night, our neighbor met me in the garage to tell me that she has killed three "not small" copperheads in our neighborhood this week. Last night she killed one in the yard next to ours...lovely. Needless to say, my walk from the back door to Maddie's kennel is one minute filled with sheer terror. There are just so many places they can hide! Of all my fears, I would have to say that snakes are at the top. I would just leave Maddie inside, but I am afraid she wouldn't be very welcoming to potential buyers...little brat.

Busy Week!

We have had a very busy week full of activities and visitors!

Callie loves her Bumbo, and now she loves her Bumbo tray. She is hilarious to watch when she is playing with something. She gets a look of sheer concentration, and then gets really excited.

We got a new toy this week, and this was our first ride.

Giggly girl:)

Aunt Kylee and Uncle Chris came over on Saturday for a fun day.

Showing off the smallest and cutest flip flops! (also an adorable ladybug outfit from Kristin)

Like I said, we have had an extremely busy week. Craig finished two softball leagues, and I got a night out too playing Bunco with friends. I am SO excited that Kris made it to the finale of Idol! I REALLY think he has a chance against Adam, but I guess we will see. They couldn't be more different. The Lost finale was insane...as usual. I cannot wait to see what the final season has in store. I am expecting answers in EVERY show next season!
Callie is getting bigger and bigger every day. She is laughing so much, and she is coming up with new noises that are hilarious. She is such a cutie:)

Five Months and Happy Mother's Day

Callie was not in the mood for smiling today, but she still looks really cute on her five month birthday:) She is such a sweetie and loves to talk and laugh! She is constatnly rolling over, and now she thinks grabbing her feet and shoes is hilarious. She is discovering so much, and she is such a blast to watch! We have upgraded to a bigger bow, and we LOVE it:)

It takes a lot of pictures to get a good one, so here are some "out-takes"

I have had a wonderful Mother's Day filled with lots of time with the little love bug:) Callie got me a beautiful Pandora bracelet with a C on it, and my mom got me a gorgeous green leather jacket that I have been eyeing...too bad it is hot and humid now. I can't wait until fall to wear it! Hopefully by then Callie's spit up will be a thing of the past:)
Happy Mother's Day to my mom and to Cindy...I love you both!

This is how Callie has been taking naps. Isn't it hilarious?! She tucks her knees under and plants her face directly into the sheet. I am afraid when she gets a little upper body strength, she will be off and crawling. We better get ready!

Rock and Roll

Callie is continuing to rock and roll all around here. This afternoon, I found her halfway under the couch...oops! Here are some pictures of her adventures today. She has decided that being on her back isn't cool anymore.

She is pretty cute:)
We had some enchiladas, salsa, and guacamole to celebrate Cinco de Mayo! (Then I got a mean call from Lance telling me he and my dad were in the drive-thru at Rosa's...sigh...how I miss Rosa's!) Rock and Roll week on Idol sure was interesting. I really only liked Adam, and that is because he is just Adam. Danny trying to hit the "Dream On" notes was a little bit much for me. I have no idea who will go home...at this point, it is anyone's game.
I went to get "summery" sandals today and came home with two pair of Jessica Simpson flats...one pair of gold and one pair of purple patent:) Not too "summery" but definitely worth it! Callie smiled the whole time we were shoe shopping...good girl!
On a completely different note, if Brett Favre "un-retires" AGAIN to play for the Vikings, I will not love him anymore. This is your last chance with me, Brett!

On the move...

This week started off like any other:
Callie was taking a nap on her side with her piggy, so I was doing some chores.

Then I heard a muffled cry and found this! I thought it must have been an accident, but we have continued to watch her do it repeatedly all week. Saturday morning, Craig even found her on her tummy in her crib.

She still loves Bumbo...it is a nice break from all of the rolling.

taking a tummy nap

chubby cheeks:)

playing away under the animals...

...ROLL! As long as she can still see her rainforest, she is fine.

While Callie has been doing all of this moving, we have been getting ready to MOVE! We are buying a terrific house on the other side of town, so we have been packing things up and getting our house ready to be shown. It has been pretty hectic, but it will all be worth it in the end:)
*I LOVE my new blog design ~ Thank you Fabulous K:)
